Oh yeah I'm pretty lenient with this stuff when it's reasonable.
Half these expensive creators making object mods didn't even create the fucking meshes. With the sims, the ones I'm OK supporting are like, TwistedMexi because he's doing 90% of the work EA won't to make the fucking game playable lol, which is a whole goddamn set of UI framework for quality of life improvements. That's a huge amount of work and enough I consider fair game for asking for a reasonable price (it was $10 and you access all the games he's built it for). I think the only things I've ever paid for with any other IP are like, the one patreon guy I follow who does VR ports of games like Red Dead because rockstar hasn't lol. I don't mind early access for a few weeks, like that is FINE to me if we're gonna do that, but the perma shit or years before it's available is ridiculous. I've been missing since like goddamn 2000 and the sims is the only damn game I've ever played where paid mods is even normalized. Yeah it drives me absolutely insane but Cowbuild and now this one are probably the two most expensive ones.Īlso laughing at the fact that aggressivekitty doesn't even fucking upload every month. Is your wicked whims up to date? Depending on how long you've been fighting this issue, WW might have broken with the last update and something isn't fixed yet. If multiple pose packs from the creator aren't showing up, that would have me suspect you're missing a necessary support mod / plug-in. Lmk if it works, and if it doesn't, I can try and help you track down a copy. But I'd do the above first if you haven't. If it's still not working, the file you received is bad. Test and see if that mod shows up, then, as you shouldn't have any conflicts.
What I'd do for that if you're like me and have a fuck load of mods is to create a guest desktop profile on your comp, install the sims, and put JUST the pose pack and any required mods like wicked whims that make the mod work. If it doesn't, you may have a mod conflict. Have you tried re-downloading the mod files? Can happen when you're copying / extracting a mod file to your mods folder, so if you haven't, delete the mod from your mods folder and recopy and past into your folder. It sounds like you either have a bad file download or a conflict.
